Day 1 – Kinshasa – Lola Ya Bonobo Sanctuary Bonobos

Morning arrival in Kinshasa, 08:00–12:00 transfer and guided tour at Lola Ya Bonobo Sanctuary, 12:30–13:30 lunch, 14:00–17:00 city highlights and local craft markets, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Kinshasa – Goma – Virunga NP Virunga

Breakfast 06:00, flight to Goma, 10:00–13:00 arrival and transfer to lodge, 14:30–17:30 optional evening game drive in Virunga NP, dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Virunga National Park Nyiragongo

06:00–11:00 guided gorilla trekking, 12:00–13:00 picnic lunch, 14:00–17:30 Nyiragongo Volcano crater rim walk or scenic viewing, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Virunga – Lake Kivu Lake Kivu

Breakfast 06:30, 07:30–12:00 scenic drive to Lake Kivu, 12:30–13:30 lunch, 14:00–17:30 boat cruise or kayaking on Lake Kivu, dinner and overnight at lakeside lodge.

Day 5 – Lake Kivu – Goma – Virunga Virunga

Breakfast 07:00, 08:00–12:00 optional hike or local village visit, 12:30–13:30 lunch, 14:00–17:30 return to Virunga NP for evening game drive or nature walk, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Virunga NP Virunga

06:00–09:30 morning birdwatching and forest hike, 10:00–12:00 visit local conservation projects, 12:30–13:30 lunch, 14:00–17:30 optional second gorilla trek or primate walk, dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Virunga – Goma – Kinshasa

Breakfast 06:00, 07:00 transfer to Goma airport, 08:30–12:30 flight back to Kinshasa with lunch en-route, 13:00–16:00 optional city tour before departure.
