13-Day – Beyond the Ordinary Pearl

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Overnight in Entebbe Town

Morning arrival at Entebbe International Airport, transfer to lodge, lunch at (12:00–13:00), depending on time of arrival, optional afternoon visit to Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Later dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Transfer from – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

From 07:00–08:30 then drive for about 150 km / 2.5–3 hrs. to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, 09:30–12:00 guided rhino tracking (Southern white rhinos, Uganda kob, Bushbuck; Birds: Fish eagle, Ground hornbill) 12:30–13:30 lunch at the sanctuary restaurant (Lunch included), 14:30–17:30 nature walk and birding, then 18:30–20:30 dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Drive from Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast at (07:00–08:00) then after drive for approximately 210 km / 3.5 hrs. to Murchison Falls, afternoon 15:30–18:00 game drive (Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Buffalo), Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Murchison Falls – Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Early morning cup of coffee at (05:45), 06:00–09:30 enjoy a morning game drive (Lions, Elephants, Rothschild Giraffes, Uganda kob, Buffalo), breakfast at lodge (10:30–12:00), then later after lunch head out at 14:00–17:30 for a Nile boat cruise to Murchison Falls with an optional visit to the top of the falls (Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, African skimmer, Goliath heron), Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Drive from Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning breakfast at (06:30), scenic drive for about 430 km / 7 hrs. Drive via Hoima and Fort Portal with lunch en-route at (12:30–13:30) depending on time of arrival you may opt for an afternoon crater lakes walk or enjoy a village walk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 – Morning Chimpanzee Tracking and Afternoon walk through Bigodi Swamp

Breakfast (06:30–07:30), 08:00–12:00 chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest (chimpanzees, red colobus, L’Hoest’s monkeys, forest birds), lunch at lodge (13:00–14:00), 15:00–17:30 Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary and community walk (Great blue turaco, Wetland birds, Cultural interaction), Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Drive from Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast at (07:00–08:00) then drive for approximately 170 km / 3 hrs. to Queen Elizabeth National Park, lunch at lodge (12:00–13:00), later at 14:30–17:30 enjoy an afternoon game drive on the Kasenyi Plains (Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Topi, Warthogs), Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – Morning Boat Ride on Kazinga Channel and Game Drive in Ishasha Sector in Search of the Famous Tree Climbing Lions

Breakfast 07:00–08:00, 09:00–11:30 Kazinga Channel boat cruise, 12:30–13:30 lunch at a channel-side lodge, 14:00–17:30 transfer to Ishasha, if time permits short evening game viewing, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – Transfer from Ishasha Sector to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Morning game drive 06:30–08:30, breakfast 09:00, drive 10:00–15:30 with en-route lunch stop in the highlands, and arrive Bwindi 16:30, village walk if time permits, 19:00–21:00 dinner and gorilla briefing. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – A once in a lifetime Gorilla Trekking Experience

Breakfast 06:00–07:00, 08:00–13:00 gorilla trekking, packed lunch provided, 14:00–16:30 relaxation at the lodge, 17:30–18:30 sundowners, 19:00–21:00 celebratory then dinner and overnight.

Day 11 – Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

Depart 08:00, scenic drive 09:00–12:00, 12:30–13:30 lakeside lunch (Lunch included – stopover), 14:30–17:30 canoeing and island exploration if time permits, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 12 – Drive from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo for a Boat Cruise and Night Game Drive

Breakfast at (07:00–08:00), then transfer at 09:00–11:30 to enjoy boat cruise then return for lunch at lodge (12:30–13:30), afternoon at leisure and later enjoy a Night game drive, return for dinner and overnight.

Day 13 – Drive from Lake Mburo to Entebbe Airport for your outbound flight

Breakfast 06:30, drive 07:00–17:00 with en-route lunch and equator stop, arrive Entebbe for departure. After Lunch or Dinner depending on your departure time.
