A Complete Uganda Safari from Ziwa Rhinos to Lake Bunyonyi’s Tranquil Waters

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Overnight at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

From 07:00–08:30 arrive and check in, 09:00–11:30 guided on-foot rhino tracking, 12:30–13:30 lunch at the sanctuary restaurant (Lunch included), 14:30–17:30 nature walk and birding, then 18:30–20:30 dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Transfer from Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast 07:00–08:00, depart 08:30, arrive Murchison 11:30, 12:00–13:00 lunch at a lodge near the park gate (Lunch included – stopover), 14:00–17:30 afternoon game drive, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Murchison Falls Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Nile Boat Safari

Early game drive 06:00–09:30, 10:30–12:00 brunch and rest at the lodge, 14:00–17:30 boat cruise to the base of the falls, if time permits a short walk to the top of the falls, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Drive from Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest

Depart at 06:30, scenic drive 07:00–14:30 with a planned en-route lunch stop at a local restaurant in Fort Portal, arrive Kibale 15:30, 16:30–18:30 crater lakes walk if time permits, followed by 19:00–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Morning Chimpanzee Tracking and Afternoon Bigodi Swamp Experience

Breakfast at 06:30–07:30, 08:00–12:00 chimpanzee tracking, 13:00–14:00 lunch at the lodge, 15:00–17:30 Bigodi wetland and community walk, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Drive from Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast 07:00–08:00, drive 08:30–11:30, 12:00–13:00 lunch at the lodge, 14:00–17:30 Kasenyi plains game drive, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Morning Boat Ride on Kazinga Channel and Game Drive in Ishasha Sector in Search of the Famous Tree Climbing Lions

Breakfast 07:00–08:00, 09:00–11:30 Kazinga Channel boat cruise, 12:30–13:30 lunch at a channel-side lodge, 14:00–17:30 transfer to Ishasha, if time permits short evening game viewing, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – Transfer from Ishasha Sector to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Morning game drive 06:30–08:30, breakfast 09:00, drive 10:00–15:30 with en-route lunch stop in the highlands, and arrive Bwindi 16:30, village walk if time permits, 19:00–21:00 dinner and gorilla briefing. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – A once in a lifetime Gorilla Trekking Experience

Breakfast 06:00–07:00, 08:00–13:00 gorilla trekking, packed lunch provided, 14:00–16:30 relaxation at the lodge, 17:30–18:30 sundowners, 19:00–21:00 celebratory then dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

Depart 08:00, scenic drive 09:00–12:00, 12:30–13:30 lakeside lunch (Lunch included – stopover), 14:30–17:30 canoeing and island exploration if time permits, 18:30–21:00 dinner and overnight.

Day 11 – Drive from Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe Airport

Breakfast 06:30, drive 07:00–17:00 with en-route lunch and equator stop, arrive Entebbe for departure. After Lunch or Dinner depending on your departure time.
