6-Day – Uganda’s Wildlife, Primates and Gorilla Experience

Experience Rhinos, Savannah wildlife, Chimpanzees, and Gorillas in a concise but unforgettable journey.

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Overnight in Entebbe Town

Morning arrival at Entebbe International Airport, transfer to lodge, lunch at (12:00–13:00), depending on time of arrival, optional afternoon visit to Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Later dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Drive from Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast at (07:00–08:00) then drive for about 150 km / 2.5–3 hrs. to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, 09:30–12:00 guided rhino tracking (Southern white rhinos, Uganda kob, Bushbuck; Birds: Fish eagle, Ground hornbill), then lunch at (12:30–13:30), after drive for approximately 210 km / 3.5 hrs. to Murchison Falls, afternoon 15:30–18:00 game drive (Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Buffalo), Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Murchison Falls – Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Early morning cup of coffee at (05:45), 06:00–09:30 enjoy a morning game drive (Lions, Elephants, Rothschild Giraffes, Uganda kob, Buffalo), breakfast at lodge (10:30–12:00), then later after lunch head out at 14:00–17:30 for a Nile boat cruise to Murchison Falls with an optional visit to the top of the falls (Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, African skimmer, Goliath heron), Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Drive from Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning breakfast at (06:30), scenic drive for about 430 km / 7 hrs. Drive via Hoima and Fort Portal with lunch en-route at (12:30–13:30) depending on time of arrival you may opt for an afternoon crater lakes walk or enjoy a village walk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5 – Morning Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Breakfast early enough at (06:30–07:30), after briefing start the trek at 08:00–12:00 in Kibale forest (chimpanzees, Red colobus, Forest birds), return for lunch at the lodge (12:30–13:30), thereafter drive for about 180 km / 5–6 hrs. to Bwindi and if time permits you may have an optional village visit, later enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Entebbe Airport for Departure Flight

Early breakfast at (06:00) then head out for briefing 07:00–12:30 gorilla trekking with 1 hr. with gorillas and forest birds) return for lunch at lodge (12:30–13:30), drive to the airstrip for your afternoon domestic flight to Entebbe to connect with your departure flight.
